Our 2018 Christmas gift to our son Paul and his wife Toni was a check to pay for half of a Golden Retriever puppy, named SPIRIT.   Since they lived in Alaska and we were in Washington State the only way we could enjoy Spirit’s puppyhood was through photos.  Toni agreed to stay busy with her camera!  We have been delighted getting to know our grand puppy through her photos and in person after she moved with Paul and Toni to share our home in Plain, Washington.

    What wonderful friends our pets are.. As I watched Spirit grow it reminded me of my dogs and the adventures we’ve had around Leavenworth Charlie used to cross country ski with us and race down ahead of us as we cross country skied.
