SITKA SCENES IV – THANKSGIVING 2018 – PHOTOS BY LORELIE OLSON & KATHY BIEVER – TEXT BY LORELIE OLSON

Keith and Kathy Biever were always welcome Thanksgiving guests, and joined us again in Sitka for our 2018 holiday.  Kathy and Tim took a long walk to the harbor, where Kathy took pictures of Paul’s former troller, “Valiant Hunter,” and his current troller “Pacific Flyer.”

The two hungry hikers and the rest of us decided on Mean Queen pizza for dinner.  It took a while to choose from the tempting menu.

While we waited for our pizza orders, we all talked and laughed a lot.   Kathy asked us  all to smile while she took a photo.

Toni and her family thought the pizza was great, and worth the wait!

Turkey day was approaching fast, so Kathy unpacked a heavy suitcase full of her own pie pans and other necessary kitchen equipment to make rolls and pumpkin pies.

Even Greta looked ready for a taste!

Since Paul and Toni wanted a puppy before Christmas, we went  to see three litters right after Thanksgiving for a puppy experience.  Was Tim holding THE ONE? Or was PAUL?

Orion and Greta were thankful for the new puppy named “Spirit”.

It was another happy THANKSGIVING!
