We have so many wonderful memoriesof holiday traditions with family and friends! One of our favorite traditions with friends was an annual December lunch at the home of Dave and Joyce Wagar, including festive decorations, delicious food, special gifts, and excellent company!
FESTIVE DECORATIONS
As we entered the condo and turned toward the kitchen, we could see Joyce’s special gingerbread tree and gingerbread train, featuring some of her collection.
We admired the dining room table decor and Joyce’s Christmas village, which was slightly different every year.
The living room mantel always displayed a beautifully decorated tree, with a theme that varied through the years.
DELICIOUS FOOD
Appetizers were always a big hit, and Kathy, Keith, John, Dave, and Lorelie were in line to sample them. Joyce served seconds while the rest of us talked and munched.
Lunch was always a hearty treat, with salads, breads, and a variety of main dishes.Special favorites were macaroni and cheese and lasagna! The happy diners were John, Tim Lorelie, Keith, Dave, Kathy, Jam and Jessie.
SPECIAL GIFTS
We all brought special gifts for each other and placed them on a shelf in the living room. Such a variety: cookies, snacks, books, plants, photo books, calendars . . . We enjoyed opening our own gifts and watching everyone else open theirs.
EXCELLENT COMPANY
WE ENJOYED THE CONVERSATIONS, SMILES, AND MEMORIES OF LONG-TIME FRIENDS.WHAT A WONDERFUL TRADITION THIS WAS;THANK YOU, DAVE AND JOYCE!
WE WISH YOU HAPPY CHRISTMAS MEMORIES!

Thanks to Dave and Joyce for classily hosting and to Lorelie for the fun trip down Memory Lane of Christmases Past. Looking forward to 2021 deja vu. Ho! Ho! Ho!
My earliest photos of this tradition are from 2003. Does anyone have pictures earlier than this or maybe that was the first. At first we met for dinner but changed for obvious reasons. Good memories
