SITKA SCENES V – MEMORIES AND MILESTONES

Text & Photos by Lorelie & Tim Olson

WORLD CLASS CHAMBER MUSIC IN A STUNNING SETTING

Long time lovers of chamber music, the Sitka Summer Chamber Music Festival  was a magnet for us to fly to Sitka in June.  Internationally known musicians’ performances inspired us with their music while we enjoyed the view of Sika Sound.

The pictures below finds us at a CRAB FEED celebration picnic prior to the concert!  No this is not the Seattle Chamber Music Festival, dress up if you please, but if you just unloaded a hold of fish, or attended a picnic, come as you are – even in. hip boots and oilskins.  We all enjoy the music!
