SALMON SUMMERS XIV – ANOTHER SEASON – By Tim Olson

After staying on the beach for a few summers, in 1984 I returned again to the fishing life that I always found easy to leave in the fall and impossible to resist in the spring. ANOTHER SEASON celebrates a season’s “opening day” that always holds possibilities in equal measure for success and for disappointment. Of course, in my imagined first day, we have success!

Special thanks to Doug Jones for several of the photographs in this post!

  1. What wonderful photos! Looked for you in them but couldn’t find you – maybe you were the one who took them.
    Quite the adventure!

  2. Tim, I just loved this collection of words and images! So exciting to scroll through. I’m going back to the beginning to experience it all over. Thanks!
