Birthday celebrations are a summer highlight in our family, since three of us have July birthdays. Paul was in Alaska this summer but Karl and I celebrated with friends and family several times during the last part of the month.
CELEBRATING AT EVERETT MARINA
My special birthday wish come true: to be on Freyja, motor around the harbor, and tie up at the guest dock below the Indigo Hotel. From there we walked up to the Jetty Cafe for dinner at an outside table and explored the walkways. The evening stayed perfect for our return trip to our home dock beneath a setting sun!
CELEBRATING AT KARL'S HOME
Karl’s birthday was celebrated at home with a family dinner on the deck, where we could enjoy the view of the harbor, flowering pots, and the garden below. Wonderful pastas, funny party glasses and cute gifts and silly cards!
Our birthday celebrations in July were real highlights! But there were more to come in August – stay tuned!
