— Edward Abbey

“The shadows of the deserts are so magical that we completely forget the owners of the shadows!”

Mehmet Murat ildan

“If the desert is holy, it is because it is a forgotten place that allows us to remember the sacred. Perhaps that is why every pilgrimage to the desert is a pilgrimage to the self. There is no place to hide and so we are found.”

– Terry Tempest Williams

“If a flower can flourish in the desert, you can flourish anywhere.”

Matshona Dhliwayo

“On your journey to your dream, be ready to face oasis and deserts. In both cases, don’t stop”

  • Paulo Coelho

“Owners of the shadows” is an expression pregnant with endless possibilities. How many influences do we have as individuals that never enter our minds? Caution advised on how I am, who I am, where I am, when I am? If I am is never in doubt.
