Tim and I invite you to review the many pleasures of our autumn season! We savored good food at home and in favorite restaurants, visited with friends and family, and enjoyed a variety of fall scenes.
DINING PLEASURE
We were glad to have Paul make his “famous” fish and chips with Alaska caught ling cod on a visit to Everett.
I was inspired to make a Norwegian meatballs supper for visiting cousins Jenene and Kelly from the Johnsen side of my family! An added treat was admiring Grandmother Sofia’s rosemaling table runner! I had two of them and gave one to Kelli for her home.
Forever friends Keith and Kathy joined us for two lunch dates at Anthony’s restaurant where we indulged in our favorite dishes!
VISITS WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS
A quick trip to Ponderosa brought us great enjoyment, with fall color, conversations with neighbors, Paul and Toni, and relaxing with Sika and Spirit, Scrabble, good music, and books!
We visited Dave and Jan’s new home at Parkshore, toured the facilities there, admired the views and had lunch with our long time friends.
FALL SCENES
A happy coincidence at the Everett waterfront brought us a view of the Halloween harbor festival from our table at Fisherman Jack’s restaurant. We enjoyed watching the families in costume as they strolled by booths and boats for a unique “ Trick or Treat” experience!
Standing on our deck, the autumn days often ended with a calm Port Gardner Bay below us and a fading sunset disappearing behind the Olympic Mountains above us.
Our visual experiences ended with a stunning performance of “Camelot” at the Village Theatre in November.
