SPRING FLOWER SHOW – Text By Lorelie Olson – Photos By Lee Lageschulte

The mild weather of late spring encouraged our northwest perennials and shrubs in their colorful blooms! Edmonds walks provided Lee and Roger with opportunities for enjoying the fragrance and beauty in neighborhood gardens and sidewalk plantings. Join them as Lee’s camera captures the colors and textures of our most brilliant bloom season.

PEONIES

With over 33 known species, these natives of temperate regions in Asia, Europe, and North America provide a wide variety of fragrance, color, and texture. With their short blooming time, we need to appreciate them when we have the opportunity.  Columbine flowers highlight the peony in the photo.
