This is the ninth series of Susan Reynolds’ paintings published in the NESTER blog. For me, this means that I have spent a few hours with Susan’s paintings during the process of publishing each post. While looking for quotes to accompany these paintings, I found this one from Cecily Brown, “I love to look at art, I love to look at paintings, and I almost feel like the experience isn’t complete until I’ve made something of my own.” To “make something of my own,” is well worth the time spent doing so.
