As we near the end of this summer, I’d like to share special memories the Olson family participated in this summer. Different members experienced a visual “potpourri” of activities. Celebrations, gardens, and other activities have enhanced our enjoyment of the perfect Northwest summer weather!

JUNE
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Early June was an opportunity to celebrate Kathy’s and Tanner’s birthdays with a small but happy family gathering at Karl’s and Michelle’s home (alias “party central”).
ALTOGETHER NOW - BLOW
FATHER'S DAY
FOOD AND FLOWERS FOR THE FATHERS!
ALL SMILES WITH FRIENDS
Tim and I enjoyed lunches with friends and and dinner “treats” for us at favorite local restaurants Fisherman Jack’s and Anthony’s Homeport. Delicious food, good conversations, interesting views, and colorful plantings.
JULY
GUESTS ADD TO FAMILY FUN
Michelle and Karl hosted their annual July 4 barbecue with longtime friends, Fritz, Emily and Traci joining in the festivities and staying late to watch the Everett fireworks from the deck.
SAVORING AN EVENING WITH FAMILY & FRIENDS
Paul and Toni, Alan and Janeen celebrated our July birthdays with us (and many dogs).
What would our humans do without us?
AUGUST
SHOPPERS KEEP ON COMIN'
Shoppers filled the neighborhood sidewalks the first weekend in August for the “MOTHER OF ALL GARAGE SALES!” Crowds! Cars! Wagons! STUFF!
OUR EVERETT GARDEN
The garden flourished in unexpected ways. The small pocket garden (below) was a colorful contrast to the garage sale stuff and some dry, streetside lawns. White clusters covered our “peegee” hydrangea and the hardy hibiscus began to bloom!
KEEPING COOL IN PONDEROSA
Far from the crowded streets in Everett, in Ponderosa Toni enjoyed activities with her son Paul, granddaughter Drew, and Drew’s friends.
SUMMER’S FINAL FLOAT
After an active social summer, let’s all relax with Toni and drift down the river . . .
Loved the pictures and commentary.
A great summer. I write this comment sitting in the deck of his boat enjoying the beautiful scenery and weather on Sucia. Bay.
