Diverse feelings accompany the coming of the fall season.  After a growing time for plants comes the harvest, after the greens of summer come the colors of fall,  after the heat of summer comes the cool of fall, after the lingering sunsets of summer come the rapid onsets of darkness.  How are you and I to feel about fall?  Perhaps feelings are similar to the weather that can change from sunny to stormy within a few hours.

Keith’s photography and the selected poems embrace  the variety of feelings of fall.

Monday, October 25 is Keith Olson’s birthday and we are delighted to publish several of Keith’s photographs.  The poet Stanley Kunitz writes “That when you look back on a lifetime and think about what has been given to the world by your presence, your fugitive presence, inevitably you think of your art, whatever it may be, as the gift you have made to the world in acknowledgment of the gift you have been given, which is the life itself. ”  Thank you, Keith, for sharing with us your marvelous photographs of the world we live in everyday.
