JUDY STERNBERG – QUILTER – A VIRTUAL QUILT SHOW

The featured artist in our first virtual quilt show is Judy Sternberg, a long-time quilter and member of Plain Lazy Quilters.  Judy has a special talent for choosing fabrics, colors and design elements; she is also noted for her skills in stitching and appliqué.  Her quilting has resulted in useful as well as beautiful fiber art, including table runners, wall hangings, baby quilts, and bed quilts.

As Tim and I sat in our entry basking in the spring morning sushine, we could see that our heucheras and hellebores along the sidewalk border were still looking fresh and colorful.  A short walk along the sidewalk revealed  blooming primroses, daffodils, and tulips under the maple, with a “peekaboo” view of the grassy square

In the essay, A SOCIO-ECONOMIC MYTH OF THE FALL, Ken adds meaning to last week’s post on MAKING SENSE OF HUMAN BEHAVIOR.  Although brief, in this essay Ken searches for the causes of inequality that exist between humans and the results of that inequality.  My notes are intended to further clarify what Ken means in this essay and preface the direction of Ken’s thought that will come in future posts.
