Early March brought more winter weather, but spring was in the Northwest Washington  forecast and brightened the color of neighborhood gardens! You are invited to enjoy how Lee’s camera captures the early flowers of spring!

You are invited to join Keith not only in her garden but also on her visits to other destinations to take photographs of butterflies. 

In the spring, Keith’s and Jerry’s garden welcomes bees, butterflies and everyone who passes by their home. Perhaps, they pause to enjoy the butterflies fluttering among the flowers. Perhaps, they enter the garden and visit Jerry & Keith, whose camera is always ready to focus on the variety of butterflies adding color and mystery to the garden.

Lee welcomes you to another photographic tour of the Northwest Flower and Garden Show. The tour will include landscapes, and feature the use of natural materials that can be adapted for home gardens.

Grand sweeps of colorful massed plantings inside the flower and garden show help to counteract the grey and misty weather outside. They offer inspiration for our own gardens during the coming weeks. Even small groups of colorful hardy flowers provided ideas for tiny spaces around decks, trees, and in planters.

Lee and Roger invite you to escape into a fragrant garden paradise at the garden show! Begin with views of plants that can bring a touch of the tropics into your own home.

Our Everett garden in February is showing some bright spots of color and a variety of textures. Although these are evident to even a casual observer, a closer look is needed to fully appreciate the subtle beauty in the late winter garden. We invite you to view these early signs of coming spring!
