THE NORTHWEST
The goal in Oregon and Washington was family. Much was familiar since we had been there. However, with a goal of getting to Victoria and Buchart Gardens, we went by ferry to Kingston and then on to Port Angeles.

The Butchart Gardens was like a golden opportunity for Keith’s camera. The unexpected was the Inner Harbor. The setting sun was a perfect time for Keith. When we left Victoria for Vancouver, by ferry, I suddenly realized I was going though Active Pass for a last time, having made that passage numerous times on fishing vessels so many years ago.

In the next post, Keith and Jerry Olson’s UNITED STATES ODYSSEY will continue the journey in Canada beginning with Alberta, and then driving south to Montana, Wyoming and Colorado.
Oh I love these photos…so many memories. I hadn’t seen the mosaic orca in the inner harbor. A lovely addition.
