“FRIENDS ARE FLOWERS IN THE GARDEN OF LIFE” – By Lorelie Olson

A hearty welcome to “My Garden of Life!”

This post is dedicated to four special “flower friends”: Lynda Woltring (Who sent me the above card and is an inspiring gardener), Michelle Olson (my daughter-in-law who bring flowers and plants to surprise me), Toni Olson (my daughter-in-law who grows and shares lovely flowers), and Lee Lageschulte (long-time friend and artistic flower photographer).

Thanks to all of you for bringing beauty and friendship to my “garden of life”!

SUMMER BOUQUET

A rainbow of colors are featured in the collage of the mixed bouquet Michelle recently shared with me.

Such a variety of flowers!

MY SUMMER GARDEN FLOWERS

Growing and thriving in our Everett garden are the summer flowering shrubs: hydrangeas, clematis, hardy hybiscus, and “Sweet Honey” rose, (which is a prolific and fragrant choice for bouquets).

LEE'S FLOWER PH0TO GALLERY

Lee’s daily walks inspire her to photograph seasonal flowers in gardens along the way: daylilies, roses, daises, coriopsis, coneflowers and dahlias!

I hope you have enjoyed the flowers and remembered special friends in your “garden of lfe”.
