I first met Dave in the fall of 1963, my first year of teaching English at Shorecrest High Shool. Our rooms were near each other and our relationship rapidly increased from colleagues in the English faculty to friendship in activities that spread way beyond the school’s borders. These activities included family, hobbies, mutual friends and common interests in many facets of our lives. After more than 60 years the experiences with Dave are among my most cherished memories. The accompanying pictures reveal our maturing from young teachers to more current times.
